UZ-CYR;\">The Memorandum on Mutual Cooperation between the Project Office \u201cCenter of Green Economy Projects\u201d under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the \u201cUzAssets\u201d Joint-Stock Company was signed on August 23, 2023.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt;\"><span lang=\"UZ-CYR\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ansi-language: UZ-CYR;\">The main purpose of the Memorandum is to establish mutually beneficial cooperation of the parties in the \u201cgreen\u201d economy projects\u2019 implementation, as well as in reducing losses in industrial sectors and increasing the efficiency of resource consumption within the framework of the \u201cStrategy of transitioning to \u201cGreen\u201d Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"UZ-CYR\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ansi-language: UZ-CYR;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The parties to the Memorandum agreed to cooperate in the following areas:<\/span><\/p><ul style=\"margin-top: 0in;\" type=\"disc\"><li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: matters related to reduced greenhouse gas inventory at state-owned enterprises, as well as issuance of renewable energy certificates to state-owned enterprises;<\/span><\/li><li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span lang=\"UZ-CYR\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ansi-language: UZ-CYR;\">assistance in evaluation and implementation of \u201cgreen\u201d projects planned by enterprises with a public share;<\/span><\/li><li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span lang=\"UZ-CYR\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ansi-language: UZ-CYR;\">implementation of ESG principles and reporting in state-owned enterprises;<\/span><\/li><li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span lang=\"UZ-CYR\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ansi-language: UZ-CYR;\">development of manuals and guidelines on transformation processes of state-owned enterprises, transition to a \u201cgreen\u201d economy, greenhouse gases, ESG principles, and \u201cgreen\u201d projects;<\/span><\/li><li class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;\"><span lang=\"UZ-CYR\" style=\"font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; mso-ansi-language: UZ-CYR;\">conduct joint activities on the development and implementation of \u201cgreen\u201d economy projects, including the capacity building, knowledge exchange, strengthening networks and mutually beneficial relations.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent:
