On 26 March 2026, a meeting was held at “UzAssets” JSC with the participation of Ms. Juliette d’Aboville, an expert on environmentally sustainable governance of state-owned enterprises.

The meeting took place within the framework of an official mission organized by Expertise France, with the support of the European Union, under the Technical Assistance Program on Green Economy, implemented jointly with AFD.

During the meeting, the current results and next steps for implementing ESG principles in the activities of state-owned enterprises were discussed.

The main focus was on the preparation and disclosure of ESG reports, the development of the ESG rating system, as well as increasing the transparency and investment attractiveness of the state-owned companies’ portfolio.

It was also noted that active work is underway to expand ESG reporting practices: by the end of 2024, the number of published reports exceeded the initially set target, and efforts continue to increase the number of companies receiving ESG ratings.
