Meeting with S&P Global Representatives

On September 24, 2025, a working meeting was held at JSC “UzAssets” with Elena Eliseenko, Head of the Commercial Division for the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe at the international rating agency S&P Global Ratings.

The meeting focused on the ongoing collaboration between UzAssets and state-owned enterprises in preparation for entering international capital markets.

Representatives of UzAssets noted that several strategically important state-owned companies had, for the first time, received international credit and ESG ratings from leading global agencies — Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings.

As highlighted by UzAssets, the assignment of these ratings was made possible thanks to the ongoing transformation processes, including the implementation of modern management practices, standardization of financial reporting, and improved transparency. These efforts aim to enhance the investment attractiveness of assets and prepare companies for access to both domestic and international capital markets.

The presence of these ratings has increased trust from international financial institutions, banks, and potential strategic partners. Moreover, ratings play a key role in preparing for the listing of shares on international stock exchanges and the issuance of debt instruments.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed mutual interest in continuing close cooperation.
