Meeting with Investment Company WOOD & Co
On October 22, 2025, a meeting was held at JSC ‘UzAssets’ with a delegation from WOOD & Co, one of the leading investment banking companies in Central and Eastern Europe, specializing in capital markets and privatization processes.
The management of JSC “UzAssets” presented information on the current status and potential of state-owned enterprises, as well as plans for their transformation and privatization.
The parties discussed promising areas of cooperation, including WOOD & Co’s support in attracting investors to privatization and listing programs of state-owned companies, as well as the development of mechanisms for cooperation with private and institutional investors, including private equity funds.
At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their intention to continue cooperation in attracting investments, preparing privatization and IPO projects, and enhancing the international presence of Uzbekistan’s state-owned enterprises in international capital markets.
