On April 21, 2026, a meeting was held at «UzAssets» JSC with representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD).

During the meeting, «UzAssets» JSC presented the current results of the transformation of state-owned enterprises in Uzbekistan, as well as approaches aimed at increasing their efficiency and investment attractiveness.

Special attention was given to the ongoing reform program in state-owned companies, which is focused on introducing modern corporate governance standards, digitalization, improving operational efficiency, and advancing the ESG agenda.

Information was also provided on progress in enhancing transparency and financial sustainability of state-owned companies in Uzbekistan, including the transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), efforts to obtain and improve credit ratings, and the development of sustainable financing mechanisms.

As part of the discussion, the parties reviewed the progress of transformation projects, as well as preparations of certain companies for entering capital markets, including conducting IPOs while taking into account current market conditions and external factors.
