On 25 November 2025, a meeting was held at JSC “UzAssets” with a delegation of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), a member of the World Bank Group.

The meeting was attended by Tatiana Proskuryakova, Regional Director of the World Bank for Central Asia, Olga Sklovskaya, Regional Head of MIGA for Eastern and Central Europe and Central Asia, as well as representatives of “Franklin Templeton Asset Management” FE LLC, acting as the trustee of the Uzbekistan National Investment Fund (UzNIF).

The management of JSC “UzAssets” presented information on the ongoing transformation of Uzbekistan’s largest state-owned enterprises, including the attainment of international credit ratings, the introduction of corporate governance standards, and the transition to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The MIGA delegation presented opportunities for applying credit enhancement and investment insurance instruments, which enable state-owned enterprises to attract long-term financing on more favorable terms through the use of MIGA guarantees.
