On February 18, 2026, a ceremonial awarding of certificates was held at the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan following the completion of the “Level 1: ESG Fundamentals” module of the “ESG Center of Excellence” program, implemented by UzAssets JSC in partnership with the Asian Development Bank.

Bobur Abdinazarov, Chairman of the Management Board of UzAssets, Mirzo Iskandar Ghulamov, Head of Operations at the Uzbekistan Resident Mission of the Asian Development Bank, and Mirkomil Adilov, Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, congratulated the participants on successfully completing the course. They emphasized the importance of ESG approaches in transforming state-owned companies and enhancing their investment attractiveness in international markets.

Certificates were awarded to specialists of state-owned companies responsible for implementing and advancing ESG approaches in their professional activities. The knowledge and competencies gained will be applied in practice to implement sustainable development standards, improve corporate governance, and increase the investment attractiveness of state-owned enterprises.

During the ceremony, the course results were presented, including the completion of all 14 practical assignments, the scoring distribution, and the rules for progression to “Level 2: Practicum.” Participants who successfully completed the training received certificates with automatic admission to the next level, as well as instructions on accessing electronic versions of their certificates via the Moodle platform.
