On August 5, at UzAsset JSC, a meeting was held with the mission of the Asian Development Bank, headed by Chigdem Akin, Chief Economist for Public Administration (CSMG). 

At the meeting, issues of providing state-owned enterprises with financial management rules, financial reporting under the IFRC, as well as the introduction of a system of KPI indicators were discussed. 

In addition, the parties discussed issues on the use of corporate governance assessment tools (scorecard) at state-owned enterprises based on OECD recommendations in 2023 and 2024. 

At the same time, the initiatives and assistance of the ADB in the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan for the implementation of ESG and the development of “green” financing of state-owned enterprises were discussed.   

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint work on the transformation of state-owned enterprises with the involvement of ADB experts.
