"O'zbekiston Shampani" JSC was established in 1942 in the Yashnabad district of Tashkent city and was initially registered under different names. Since 2014, the company has been renamed to the Joint Stock Company "O'zbekiston Shampani".
The nominal value of the company's stock is 4 000 UZS, the total number of shares is 676 228 pieces. As of December 2021, the company has over 200 employees. The company's largest shareholder is UzAssets JSC, which owns 51% of the company's shares.
The main activities of the plant are:
- Production and sale of champagne, sparkling and carbonated wines;
- Production of wine materials from grapes (refined and unrefined);
- Production and sale of low-alcohol wines with a strength of 4 to 8 per cent;
- Production and sale of vodka and alcoholic beverages.
The enterprise's territory is divided into three sections. The total area of the enterprise is 5.1 hectares, the production building is 1.28 hectares.
The alcoholic beverages produced by the enterprise have won prizes in several international competitions.
- Gold medal for the sparkling wine "Champagne of Uzbekistan" with a small amount of sugar;
- Gold medal for the product "Uzbegim" – a carbonated wine with a small amount of sugar.
- Gold medal for the special vodka named "Qora Oltin";
- Gold medal for the special vodka named "Drofa";
JSC "Ozbekiston Shampani" produces four kinds of alcoholic beverages:
- 4 types of champagne.
- 3 types of sparkling wine.
- 17 types of still wines, of which eight types are natural wines, as well as special types of wines.
- 15 types of vodka.
The company is a leader in the industry and has a number of competitive advantages:
- champagne produced by the company is in high demand among consumers, the share of the company from among local producers accounts for about 76% of the champagne market;
- The company has 78 years of experience in the industry.
- The vodka and wine products produced by the enterprise are of high quality, at a relatively low production cost.
- The enterprise is certified according to ISO 9001: 2015.
In 2022-2023 the company is planning to transfer its financial and accounting reports from the National Accounting Standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAS) to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
