Participation of «UzAssets» JSC Representative at the Regional Ecological Summit
On April 22, 2026, the opening ceremony of the Regional Ecological Summit was held, dedicated to climate change, environmental sustainability, and the development of a green agenda in the region.
The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who also reviewed the Uzbekistan national stand presented within the framework of the Summit. The exhibition showcased national initiatives in environmental protection, development of green energy, and implementation of sustainable development projects.
At the Uzbekistan stand, organized jointly with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief Consultant of «UzAssets» JSC, Darya Soboleva, took part in the event.
During the exhibition, she presented key areas of activity related to ESG transformation in major state-owned enterprises of Uzbekistan, promotion of environmental and social initiatives, as well as development of investment potential within green projects.
The Summit brought together heads of state, representatives of international and regional organizations, and delegations from various countries. The discussions focused on climate change, rational use of natural resources, mitigation of land degradation, and strengthening international cooperation in environmental safety and sustainable development.
