Meeting at UzAssets with representatives of MUFG and Morgan Stanley

On February 11, a meeting was held at UzAssets with the participation of representatives from leading international financial organizations — MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) and Morgan Stanley.

For reference: MUFG is the largest financial group in Japan, formed in 2005 as a result of the merger of Mitsubishi Tokyo Financial Group and UFJ Holdings. MUFG is one of the largest financial organizations in the world, providing a wide range of financial services, including banking operations, investments, insurance, and asset management.

Morgan Stanley is one of the leading investment banks and financial service providers, founded in 1935 in New York. The company offers a wide range of financial services for individual, corporate, and institutional clients, including investment banking, asset management, and brokerage services.

At the meeting, representatives of Morgan Stanley highlighted their 17 years of experience in the field of initial public offerings (IPOs) and privatizations, and specifically emphasized their close cooperation with MUFG, which has contributed to the implementation of large-scale international projects, enabling the successful execution of IPOs on global financial markets.

Representatives of MUFG focused on their role in financing large international projects, including significant investments in Central Asian countries.

During the discussion, various strategies for attracting international investors were considered. Participants stressed the importance of developing investment proposals using a variety of financial instruments, considering risk analysis to maximize investor interest.

At the conclusion of the meeting, MUFG and Morgan Stanley expressed their interest in continuing cooperation with UzAssets to implement joint projects.
