Meeting with BancTrust & Co
On April 17, 2025, a meeting was held at UzAssets JSC with representatives of the international investment company BancTrust & Co.

During the meeting, BancTrust representatives presented the company’s activities, emphasizing their extensive experience in Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, and the CIS region.
On its part, UzAssets JSC provided an overview of ongoing transformation efforts within state-owned enterprises, including state asset management and initiatives aimed at enhancing the investment attractiveness of portfolio companies.
A key topic of discussion was the participation of Uzbek state-owned enterprises in the Eurobond market. Both parties explored existing financial instruments that could be utilized to attract external capital, including the issuance of sovereign and corporate bonds. BancTrust representatives expressed their readiness to provide advisory and organizational support, as well as assist in engaging international investors.
The company also expressed strong interest in expanding its activities in Uzbekistan, noting the country’s positive financial and economic reforms, increased market openness, and commitment to integration with global capital markets.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of potential formats for collaboration and prospects for long-term partnership.
