Meeting with Representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC)
On July 10, representatives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) met with UzAssets JSC to discuss ongoing and future projects.
During the meeting, UzAssets JSC provided detailed information about current projects and outlined the terms of reference for implementing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) across various enterprises. This move aims to facilitate the further advancement of these projects.
A significant portion of the discussion focused on enhancing the strategic partnership with IFC. The importance of IFC’s role in the privatization of state-owned enterprises in Uzbekistan and the attraction of foreign investment was emphasized.
The meeting concluded with both parties agreeing to collaborate on new, promising projects. UzAssets JSC and state-owned enterprises will work with IFC experts on transformation programs, ensuring the successful implementation of these initiatives.
