On June 11, 2025, an international seminar dedicated to IPOs and capital markets was held in cooperation with STJ Advisors, ScholzvonGleich, and Finasia Capital.

The seminar emphasized that within the framework of the reforms implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the transformation of state-owned enterprises, improving their efficiency, and enhancing their investment attractiveness are among the key directions.

Information was provided on the ongoing efforts by “UzAssets” JSC to improve corporate governance in large state-owned enterprises, attract investment through IPOs, implement ESG principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

It was also noted that according to Presidential Decree No.145 dated April 21, 2024, a number of large state-owned enterprises, including the Uzbekistan National Investment Fund (UzNIF), have been included in the privatization list through IPO and SPO mechanisms.

During the seminar, representatives of STJ Advisors, ScholzvonGleich, and Finasia Capital provided information on preparing for IPOs, the roles of international investment banks and other consulting firms involved in the process, the requirements for presentation materials prepared for international investors, and answered questions of interest to seminar participants.
