The seminar “Information technologies in state enterprises of the future” was held
In order to integrate innovative technologies, as well as the creation of IT architecture and data management in large state companies JSC UzAssets together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 24 June was organised a seminar on the theme: “Information technology in state enterprises of the future” for 22 state companies with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Centre for Cyber Security, the company KPMG, as well as international experts.
The event addressed the transformation priorities in the digitalisation of state-owned enterprises, as well as the formation of IT architecture using new information and communication technologies.
The management of UzAssets JSC presented to the participants strategic solutions and current initiatives to overcome the challenges for successful digital transformation of state enterprises, as well as the developed methodology, on approaches to the formation of IT architecture in state-owned enterprises.
A representative of the Cybersecurity Centre introduced participants to cybersecurity policies and procedures, as well as data protection methods to ensure the security of information resources in state-owned companies.
In addition, the issues of ensuring high reliability of the IT infrastructure landscape to support the continuity of critical business processes, as well as the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, etc. were discussed.
At the same time, international experts familiarised the seminar with global trends in the development of modern information technologies.
The discussion analysed current issues and achievements in the field of information technology development with a view to phased introduction into the system of state-owned enterprises.
At the end of the event, the participants were given a number of recommendations for further digital transformation and improvement of the information and communication environment in state-owned enterprises.
